During her first New York Senate bid in 2000, Hillary Clinton promised to create 200,000 new jobs in the economically-depressed upstate region of New York, but the Washington Post found there's not much evidence to prove that that was the outcome. Jobs data show that job growth stagnated in Upstate New York during her eight years in office and manufacturing jobs dropped by nearly a quarter.
The report also said that during her entire time in office, jobs in Upstate New York grew by 0.2 percent and manufacturing jobs fell by 24.1 percent, the Public Policy Institute found. (CBSNews 08.08.16)
The next time you hear Hillary talk about her plans to get the economy going again, ask yourself if 0.2 per cent job growth is enough, and if losing 24.1 per cent of existing jobs is acceptable ...
